Cell Phone VS Bible

My niece (14-years-old) just sent this to me and it’s really an eye opener (thanks Abby!)
Cell Phone VS Bible
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages?
What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Bible? Makes you stop and think “where are my priorities?” Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. And no dropped calls!
Miscellaneous

There was a kid in my middle school who carried his Bible around with him. They called him Preacher Boy, but his real name was Josh Walls. I always thought that was pretty amazing, because he was wall-eyed.

I am not guilty of this even tho your folks were nice enough to give me one. It is charging right now, but I rarely use it…just for emergencies if stuck somewhere.
I cannot figure out where at least 2 calls have come in from people I do not know…?
I probably regard something else more than the Bible, like spending too much time on emails, daily! I check it twice daily and spend 1/2 to 1 hour each time…doing lots of deleting first, tho.

I know I’m guilty of this, and I thought it was an eye-opener as well! Thanks for putting it on your blog
