Favorite Super Bowl Commercials

I thought it would be fun to list a few of my favorite Super Bowl commercials (since that’s about the only reason I watch the Super Bowl…for the commercials). :)

My Favorite:

A Close Second: Check out the racing stripes on the back of the beetle. LOL!

Most creative:

The most disturbing, but funny:
<a href="http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&#038;brand=foxsports&#038;playlist=videoByUuids:uuids:8a69ecae-1bfb-49a9-9e3d-5679464c5fda&#038;showPlaylist=true&#038;from=IV2_en-us_foxsports_videosearch&#038;fg=RAMP" target="_new" title="Doritos: Best for last">Video: Doritos: Best for last</a>

All I could think of was, “I wonder how many “takes” they had to do of this first scene” and then, “who would I rather be…the guy licking the finger or the one having my finger licked”. Ew!

And, I have to put Brody’s favorite. I was out getting some last minute food for the game last night and Jason said that Brody laughed at this one (he loves dogs):

How funny that my top three happen to be commercials for cars.

  1. I somehow missed the doritos one – I agree, I’d like to be at the filming just to watch the awkward retakes!!

  2. Scout’s favorite was the pug in the Dorito’s commercial. We had to have a talk that that was disobedient behavior for a puppy. She now knows she’s not allowed to bust down doors to eat people junk food. (Oh, the things we have to spell out in order to teach the next generation! ;-D JK)

  3. LOL! That is hilarious! How else will they know unless we teach them right. :)

  5. This is the only way that I could see the ads as I did not watch it. I turned a couple times, to the station showing it, but I could not see a score, so turned back to whatever.

I wish I could see an outtake of the singing of the Star
Spangled Banner…as so much has been said about that. They need telerpompters as Robert Goulet ruined it once, too, and as he is from Canada, how about having ”natives” sing it?
