Sneak Peak At A Party Favor
October 21st, 2010 @ 9:03 amI found several fun things to give out at Brody’s party to all of the kids attending (cheap, fun stuff). One of the last things I thought about were little pumpkins with the kids names on them. I thought it would be a cute addition to their “goody bags”. Something they could display for the month ahead and it still be in season. And of course, they’re just the right size for the kids.
I found these cute little pumpkins at Trader Joe’s. So cheap! I got the names (vinyl decals) on Etsy (again cheap). I applied the names last night to the pumpkins and thought they turned out great. It’s so fun to get personalized things and to be able to do something so cheap is even better. Here’s a pic of the pumpkins:

I chose my very favorite pumpkin for Ashley since she’s Brody’s girlfriend.

and i’m jealous — you have trader joe’s — we’re supposed to get one near us — but with no liquor license.
*sigh* 3 buck chuck wine is famous around here.

Hadn’t thought of using the pumpkins for a dinner party. Great idea (not that I’m throwing one any time soon).
We love Trader Joe’s. Didn’t know they would open one without the liquor. I’ve never tried any from there, but hear they have good deals on it. Just not my thing.

someone recently gave Autumn one of those little pumpkins, and she loved it! I think that’s a very smart and stimulating favor for the kids!
