Altered Jeans

Yep, another project DONE! I’m on a roll. :)

I hate jeans that don’t have a design on the back pockets. I think it makes people’s butts look bigger (weird, I know). I just found a great pair of jeans (thanks to my neighbor…thanks Jen!). I love them!!! They are so comfortable and look great on (yes, tooting my own horn and saying I look great in a pair of jeans). :)

These jeans have two major flaws. They do not have a design on the back pockets AND they have a hole in the knee (stupid, I know). So, I fixed both of those issues following tutorials I found online.

  1. nice! when I saw the title, I was totally expecting leftover fabric from one of your recent projects sewed on them!

  2. That would be way cute too. I’ll have to do that to another pair of jeans (I’m not messing anymore with these). :) I have some less than flattering jeans that could use a little sprucing. Great idea!

  5. honestly–you are so cute. and now i’m going to feel self-conscious that my butt looks bigger than it is because i don’t have jeans with pockets or with pockets and designs.

  6. LOL! It’s a trick I read somewhere and saw the difference between no stitching and stitching on the back pockets and it made a HUGE difference. :)
