I Suck!
August 11th, 2010 @ 8:27 pmOk, I admit it. I suck at blogging on this blog. *sigh* I had every intention of putting something creative on this blog once a week or even doing several different things a week. I have failed and for that, I’m sorry. My friend (thanks Danielle) gave me a little pep talk today and encouraged me to just get something (anything) out on this site, so here we go…
I’ve managed to keep up on my other two blogs and if you haven’t checked them out, please feel free to do so:
Brody’s Blog (all things that have to do with my son)
THF Girl (my weight loss journey, where I’ve lost over 30 pounds already)
I do have several projects that I hope to get to so I can post about them. I just haven’t had any time to do anything with them. My project table is piled high with several things to do. I’ll do my best to get something out on this blog at least once a week. It may not be something I’ve created, but I’ll post about something.
Miscellaneous

Why oh why — do you beat yourself up girl. You are amazing and you are an inspiration to others—me especially.
You need to give yourself a break. Besides–you had company for several weeks. Noone expects you to be super crafty while life goes on.
AND—Wowee!!! 30 pounds– that’s awesome!!! I am so proud of you. Wee HOO!!!
Now–get back to crafting …. LOL – just kidding.

Go, Danielle! I have been wondering what was up with your blog. I am happy to see it’s still alive!

Thanks Rachel! I feel like I’m great when I actually accomplish something, but since I haven’t done that in months, I feel like a loser. LOL! I really want to have a regular post about something new I’ve created. It will help keep me motivated to create stuff on a regular basis. I have every intention of doing that, just need time. *sigh*
In my free time, I’m working out, eating, showering, pumping and that’s about it. The rest of the time is with Brody or with Brody and Jason (when he gets home from work and we have family time at night). I do have a good 3-4 hours after Brody goes to bed at night, but I’m eating and relaxing with Jason and rarely have the motivation to head back to my computer during that time or even to my office to work on a craft.

Alright Susan….don’t be encouraging Danielle. LOL!
Actually, I love that Danielle is so honest with me and says it how it is. It obviously worked….I posted ASAP!
Feel free (ANYONE) to get on my case if it’s been over a week.

I really can’t be talking… my own blog is about a month old at this point. So much to say, no time to say it!

Okay, I admit it. I went and looked and I haven’t updated since May. You may now begin my flogging.

LOL! I forgot about your blog. You’re right. I want to see more on it.

You are awesome, Jan! I’m so proud of you for being such a blessing to your family, and also to your friends – and for making so much progress towards your goal! And for the record, all three14creations readers, Jan’s had a heck of a lot going on. I’m shocked she ALSO has some projects going on. Seriously, girl, go have a martini and paint your toenails. Then post us a picture.
muah!

Change the martini to a pina colada and I’m all for the toenails being painted.
Thanks Danielle for your encouragement!

Oh no! Blog accountability! ;-D The problem is thinking of something worth saying for me. There may be a lot going on, but if it’s more of the same, who cares about that?!
Aug 18 at 8:53 am
I have the same problem. Nothing exciting happens that is worth mentioning. If it’s due to weight loss, it goes on that blog and if it’s due to Brody, it goes on his blog. That’s basically my life right now (exercise and Brody).
I need to take time to write about personal things or create something (anything).
