There are buds on the trees and flowers are blooming. I just love this time of year! Just wanted to share a couple of pictures with you of the Camellias on the side of our house.

THANK YOU. I am Danielle H’s friend who was the recipient of the beautiful blue damask journal. I have been meaning to email you all week and this is the first chance I have had at which time I have actually remembered!
I want you to know that Danielle utterly surprised me with this gift. Because of your wonderful support of this friend I love as a sister, I went to your page to see if there was a journal that just screamed me. I wanted to buy one to thank you and support you for supporting her! When I looked, I didn’t find one that was “just right,” so I decided to wait. In the interim, Danielle came over Monday night with my surprise. My reaction? I cried. I just started crying and then I hugged her. I couldn’t believe that she would spend the money on a gift like that for me when things are so hard for them. Then she shared the story of your sweetness. Ok…tearing up just thinking about all this. She knew I needed a journal. My old one is almost completely filled. And here is this precious, PRECIOUS gift of a journal that is more beautiful than anything I would get commercially, and I get to know every time I use it that she gave it and that her friend made it.
