I’ve Got Nothing

So, you take away the topic of Brody and I have absolutely nothing to say. How sad is that?  No time for creations, making new recipes (although we’re getting back to making some “clean” recipes that we’ve already made) and nothing exciting to write about.

I’m behind on magazines, trying to read three child books (and a ton more to one day read), received two new “eat clean” recipe books for Christmas and have a million recipes marked that I want to try (and blog about).

Tomorrow, I am getting a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax.  Happy (early) birthday to me!  Jason told me to go out and relax, take as long as I needed and they’d be here when I get back.  I can’t wait to go.  It’s not because I want to get away from Brody.  I just need some pampering (even if it’s not at a spa).  LOL!

Lucky girl! Hope you enjoyed your day of pampering. We all need that from time-to-time. Sure wish I could clone your husband! :o)

It was an amazing morning. We all ran errands that afternoon and that went well too. I feel so much cleaner. :) I wish I could clone my husband too and share him with the world. He truly is amazing!

Thanks! So far, I have a feeling it will be a great birthday. Jason always comes up with something special to do for me to make the day fun. He’s already mentioned a surprise gift. I can’t wait! :)

My surprise was Jason taking the picture of me visiting my Grandpa in the hospital (one week before he passed) and editing it. He blurred out the background hospital garb, blurred himself out and just made me and my Grandpa crystal clear. He changed the photo to sepia and then brought the color out in his hospital bracelet (which is blue). I have his actual hospital bracelet from that day that is displayed with the picture, so him making that stand out in the picture looks pretty cool. It took a lot of time for him to edit this photo and the fact that it was this photo made it all the more special. :)
