3-Month Photos

On Saturday, January 30th, Brody will be having his 3-month photos professionally taken by a local photographer who is coming to us (this will be interesting).

I have absolutely NO clue what to dress Brody in.  Any suggestions on how to dress a 3-month old for photos (he normally wears a long-sleeve onesie with a pair of sweat pants and socks (classy, huh).

How exciting…… I really need to go visit you guys. I really want to see you guys.

I will give you some ideas that what I do:

For Robert’s 3 month pictures we dressed him (and ourselves in navy blue and white). We ended up with b/w pictures and it looked very good. We took a picture of the 3 of us in which Robert was barefoot and the picture shows his feet (CAN YOU SAY CUTE!!)

For Patrick’s 3 month pictures we all dressed in jeans and white for the boys (theirs had sayings on them that read I am the little brother/big brother) and Rob and I wore Red and jeans . It all looked cute.

I usually try to avoid cutsie stuff. I coordinate everyone in the picture:
    navy/khaki
navy/white (to which I might add red or burgundy)

I try for stripes on the boys (to coordinate), solids for us.

Make sure you take some pictures with yourselves in them and do so every year (professional or not), it’s fun to see how much everyone changes (we have a wall full of our yearly pictures).

Have fun and don’t stress to much about it. (Pick an outfit Brody looks cute in and coordinate yourselves to it).

Good luck and I hope i can swing by and see u guys soon.

Jan, when I get home from work today, I will send you some of Jaxon’s three-month (professional) pics which might give you some ideas of what to ask your photographer to do during their session with you. They turned out way cool. We signed up for the “Birthday Program” where we had his picture taken every three months. Then, on his 1st birthday, she provided balloons & a cake and let Jaxon go at the cake while she snapped away. I love going back and looking at how he changed during that first year.

Mary - I would love this! Thank you so much for thinking to do this. I can’t wait to see Jaxon’s 3-month pictures (feel free to add more). I’m sure he’s grown up a ton since I’ve even seen him last. :)
