Pack N Play

Yesterday we got our Pack N Play.  I’m not fond of polka dots, but it was the only decent Pack N Play that came in blues and browns.  Jason put it together last night and Oscar was all over it.  I wish I had gotten the camera or camcorder out as Oscar was making us both crack up.  He wanted to lay on everything and when you tried to move him, he’d put his paws straight out and we had to drag him off.

We moved the Pack N Play into our bedroom (where it will remain while people are visiting and staying with us).  It’s not in the final position, but currently just in the room and out of the way.  Oscar has decided to take naps in it, which neither of us like and have taken him out each time.  This time I couldn’t resist getting a picture first.  I am just thankful that he’s choosing to lay in a part that I don’t plan on putting the baby anytime soon.

We’re heading out this weekend to get the last of our “needed” items.  I’m also getting myself packed and ready to go.  Then it’s just wait-and-see.  I’ll keep you posted.

We used our pack-n-play for both the boys. It was handy to have it in our bedroom, that way we didn’t have to walk far to care for them. It was a good way to keep our cat out of the room too.

With Elliana we purchased this really neat bassinet that moved back and forth. It was a lifesaver! She actually started sleeping for a few hours at a time :)

Amy - I may be asking you for the name of the bassinet you used with Elliana if our little guy has issues with sleeping. LOL! I’m hoping this pack n play will do the trick. I’d prefer him in his crib in his own room, but with family visiting, it just makes sense to keep him in our room and let them use the trundle bed in the baby’s room.
