What Would You Choose?

I’m thinking of putting a wall saying on one of the walls in the nursery.  Here are some sayings I’m interested in.  Which would you pick or do you have another saying that you like better (not listed).

Option 1:
Before you were conceived
I wanted you.
Before you were born
I loved you.
Before you were here an hour
I would die for you.
This is the miracle of love.
~Maureen Hawkins

Option 2:
Child of God;
an unrepeatable miracle

Option 3:
Every good and perfect gift from above.
~James 1:17

Option 4:
Wee little baby fresh from God’s arms,
You light up the world
with your sweet baby charms.
May God ever bless you
with love and with grace,
And may joy always shine
on your dear little face.

Option 5:
Sometimes the smallest things
take up the most room in your heart.
~Winnie the Pooh

Newest Project

I’m ready to make another quilt, but just needed someone to make it for.  My niece kindly volunteered and picked out a fabric she liked and told me to find others that go well with it.  I’m heading to the fabric store this week to get the fabric needed to make her quilt.  The photo below shows the fabric she chose (second row, second down – clematis/grey) along with the other fabrics I chose to go with it.  The top left fabric is still up in the air though.  It looked better in the store, but doesn’t look good on paper.  I’ll have to take a closer look at that one.  It may be nixed.

I sent my niece several patterns to choose from.  She chose the one I actually don’t have a pattern for (go figure).  I wasn’t the smart one to send her an option I had no directions for.  So, I’m going to just figure it out on my own and hope for the best.  We’ll see how it all turns out.  It looks very simple to make, but guessing how big to make it is my real issue.  I know about how big I want it (a little larger than lap size), but just not sure how much fabric is needed.  I guess I can always head back to the store.

I’ll keep you posted on my progress with this quilt.  I can’t wait to see it come together.
