Card Shortage Due To The Economy

We celebrated our 12th anniversary on May 24th. To our surprise, we received the same card from three people (both sets of parents and an Aunt/Uncle). We decided that due to the economy, there must be an anniversary card shortage. Heck, you’d think that it was a monumental anniversary where there were only two cards to choose from. We had a good laugh (talk about déjà vu).

18 Weeks (and counting)…

Today marks 18 weeks for me (and 1 week, 1 day from our BIG ultrasound). The baby is the size of a large sweet potato. Here’s what’s happening with the baby this week: The fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to me), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby’s finally big enough that I’ll be able to feel those movements soon. I’d say I’ve felt some fluttering, but I’m not definite that it’s the baby. I’m waiting for one of those “woah” moments where I know it’s the baby. Can’t wait!
