Baby Name Snob
May 12th, 2009 @ 2:26 pmI’ve been having fun on The Bump forums. I recently ran across a post advertising the Baby Name Snob blog. It’s all about naming your baby. Theresa and Jessica enjoy searching through baby names and coming up with suggestions for you…..for FREE. You just give them some guidelines (like…you want the name to start with a “P” or you want a unique name or you want it to be German, etc…).
Of course, when I heard about this, I had to write in and I got a response today. I have to say, I’m very impressed with how quick they are and some of their name ideas. Head on over to the Baby Name Snob website and read my post. Feel free to come back here and leave a comment as to what name you like the best. It’ll be another 6 weeks before we have our next ultrasound (and hopefully find out the sex of the baby). No worries, we’ll share, but I’m not sure we’ll share the name once we pick it out. We might leave that for a surprise (there has to be some suspense somewhere).

How cool is this?!?!?!?! I actually really like several of the names that they picked out. Baby Name Snob is so much more fun than looking through a name book.

Okay …. for whatever it’s worth, here’s my choices for girl names …. I’m still deciding on boy names.

I won’t be offended if you don’t choose either one. Just throwing my two cents worth in.

Those are great names. We just need to get both of us on board.
Feeling much better and over the morning sickness. I just need to gauge my food better (I’m either eating too much and feel bloated and full or not eating enough and feeling hungry as all get out). 
Belly pics should be coming soon (in the next few weeks) and we’ll be finding out the sex of the baby (hopefully) in another four weeks.

The Baby Name Snob gave you some great name ideas. We’ll love any name that you choose! (just hope that your baby doesn’t dislike his/her name….like someone I know)

I definitely like the uniqueness of the names offered (very impressed). We haven’t even sat down to talk about names, so we’ll see. And Mom…I don’t “hate” my name.
