I’ve been in my office all day today with my sewing machine. I have to say, I love my sewing machine. I have no clue how to really sew, but it’s so peaceful. I have such a great set up to use it, so it makes it all the more easier.
Today I created a custom fabric three ring journal for a fellow Etsian. I just got it listed for her and hope she likes what she’s chosen. I took a picture of all the fabrics I currently have on hand and let her choose the one of her choice. She requested the binder rings and requested no paper to be included on the inside as she’ll include her own papers. I can’t wait to hear what she chooses to use hers for.
I also created a notebook cover (my first one). I’ve been wanting to make one for some time now, but just haven’t had the time. Since I had a custom order to make and the sewing machine would already be out, it seemed like the perfect time to give it a try. This fabric covered notebook is specifically for me. I’ve been wanting to journal a few things going on in my life right now, but always put things off because I don’t have something “pretty” to use. No more excuses, I’ve got my own fabric covered notebook to use. I’ll have to get started journaling tonight.

I’m thrilled you have a pretty (GREEN!) journal to use now Jan! I’ve been thinking about getting you one all week, but now it’s more special that you have one you made yourself that you know you love– and now you can get started right away.

You rock! Thanks for thinking to get me one. It was actually your comment about one that made me think that I really needed to take time to make the cover for the notebook I had on hand. Thanks for your prompting.
