Valentine Card Set

I made a set of Valentine envelopes yesterday to sell on Etsy, but seem to have extra paper (unused) from making the envelopes. I decided to make some matching Valentine cards to go with the envelopes.

I’m not much for making extravagant cards. I love getting them. There are so many people who are so talented with making handmade cards, so I try not to even compete. I’m sticking with simplicity.

I just purchased my Valentine cards to hand out this past week (from Hallmark). Do you know how expensive cards are these days? Oh my word! I only give Valentine cards to my Dad and the nieces and nephews (and of course my husband, but he’s a given). I spent about $20 on cards and that’s with getting the 99 cent cards for the kids.
