It’s A Winter Wonderland

We have snow!  I can hardly believe it.  I woke up around 5:30 and couldn’t resist getting out of bed to look out the window…SNOW!  I got back in bed, but was too excited to fall back asleep, so it was an early morning for me.  I went straight to my office, opened up the blinds, and have been watching it snow ever since.

I can’t remember the last time we had snow that actually accumulated.  We’re looking to get between 2-4 inches and I’d say we have about 2 already.  The snow is still coming down pretty good and is suppose to be like this until around noon today, melting off tomorrow.  What’s nice about living in the south is that we do get to enjoy some winter fun, but it’s short-lived.

More so than seeing the snow accumulated on the ground, I truly enjoy watching the fluffy flakes fall.  It’s so amazing to see!  God amazes me with His wonderful creations!

And the state of North Carolina has already declared a “state of emergency”. They do things different down here in the south, that’s for sure.

We have snow now! A bit of a distance from you (Wales, UK) its really nice but most of the country has shut down with less then 1/2 an inch of snow! Probably shouldn’t be amused… but I do like snow! :)

Wow, you shut down too when it snows. Guessing that means you don’t get a lot of snow where you are either. :)
